RE: Important Update Regarding Donations and Our Commitment to Transparency

Dear Donors,

Shan You would like to address a serious situation that has come to our attention involving Mr. Justin Koh, former Senior Programme Executive at Shan You Wellness Community. Shan You has discovered that during his tenure, Mr. Koh has misappropriated cash donations generously given by our donors. In response, we have filed a police report, and an investigation is currently underway.

Shan You extends its heartfelt apologies to all affected by this breach of trust. It is our utmost priority to handle this matter with the seriousness it deserves and to keep our donors and beneficiaries fully informed as we move forward.

In light of this recent incident, Shan You has implemented stricter oversight and controls surrounding the handling of donations. Shan You has since stopped all cash donations from being collected at Shan You Wellness Community Centre while police investigation is underway.

Contribution through the donation box at Shan You Wellness Community shall remain. Shan You assures donors that the donation box at Shan You Wellness Community has always been handled directly by the staff at Shan You Head office and no compromise of the donation box has been discovered.

We are deeply aware of the impact this incident may have on your trust in Shan You. We are committed to rebuilding that trust through continuous and transparent communication about the steps we are taking to resolve this issue. Our dedication to integrity, honesty, and accountability remains unwavering.

We value your continued engagement and understanding as we work through this challenging period.

捐赠和透明度承诺重要发表

至捐赠者：

善友在此为近期一件涉及前善友康乐亭主管Justin Koh的严重事件作出发表。善友发现，在Justin Koh任职期间，他挪用了捐赠者慷慨捐赠的现金捐款。为此，我们已向警方报案，目前正在调查中。

善友对所有受到这次信任破坏事件影响的人表示最诚挚的歉意。我们将以最严肃的态度处理此事，并在前进过程中及时向我们的捐赠者和受益人通报情况。

鉴于近期发生的事件，善友已经实施了更严格的监督和控制措施，以确保捐款处理的安全。在警方调查期间，善友康乐亭已停止所有现金捐款的收集。

善友康乐亭的捐款箱所进行的捐赠将持续保留。善友向捐赠者保证，善友康乐亭的捐款箱一直由善友总部的工作人员直接管理，捐款箱至今未受到任何影响。

我们深知此事件可能对您对善友的信任产生的影响。我们致力于通过持续和透明的沟通，重新建立这份信任。我们对诚信、诚实和问责的承诺始终坚定不移。

Please approach our staff directly when making any donation to Shan You Wellness Community.

Donations are only accepted by:

  • Cheque payable to Shan You

For Cheque donation, kindly complete the Donation Form with payee details and then provide the signed form together with the cheque to our staff at Shan You Wellness Community.

You can also donate to our online fundraising campaigns through Giving.sg.

即日起，任何与捐款有关的询问，请联系我们的现任工作人员。

*敬请注意：目前善友康乐亭只接受通过支票, PayNow或 Giving.sg 捐款方式。
