A Getai Date with Mum - Charity Night《歌台妈妈 善友之约》慈善夜

Venue: Esplanade Concert Hall 滨海艺术中心音乐厅
Celebrate this Mother’s day by setting a date with popular Getai artistes Liu Ling Ling 刘玲玲, Wang Lei 王雷, Sam Loo 吕伟伦 and Angie Lau 刘心玲. Directed by Liu Ling Ling, this concert showcases the evolution of Getai with music performed by Ding Yi Music Company 鼎艺团 and conducted by Quek Ling Kiong 郭勇德.

Travel back in time together with these artistes and learn more about the changes in Getai as this traditional art form adapts to the modern art scene. Be dazzled by the unique twist in Getai music as the Chinese chamber music ensemble infuses some of their unique elements into the melody. Fans of Liu Ling Ling can even expect a never-seen-before segment arranged to showcase her love for her child, in-line with the theme of this concert!
