Youth Development Service

Objectives of Youth Empowerment Network

Mentoring and befriending services to youths to enhance their physical, emotional, social and spiritual lives.
Public and professional education programmes to equip youths with leadership knowledge and skills, and to enhance their physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being.
Public and professional behavioural health education programmes to promote physical, mental and spiritual well-being for youths and their parents.
Volunteering and mentoring opportunities for the youths to promote inter-generational bonding.
Training volunteers and paraprofessionals to serve the needs of youths.

Current Programmes

Shan You believes in lifelong learning and we organize workshops and seminars tailored to our youths’ need. Our programmes are conducted by professional personnel and are heavily subsidized by Shan You. Some of our existing programmes are as follow:

Service Learning

Shan You advocates service learning by working with various stakeholders to reach out to the community. Guidance will be provided for our youths to spearhead community outreach initiatives to benefit the needy. Youth volunteers will also be empowered to utilize project management skills in organising their own camp or outdoor adventure programme. Some of our service learning events are as follow:
