Yuan Yuan (圆缘助线) Helpline – Mandarin Telephone Counselling

Yuan Yuan Helpline (Mandarin) was formed in 2006 by a group of volunteers to help people in need of telephone counselling services under such circumstances as bereavement, critical illness or other crisis. Then, there were people who simply needed a listening ear, when the going got tough. In 2008, the Helpline received 485 calls from members of public.

The focus of Yuan Yuan Helpline is to provide telephone counselling services and other services including appropriate referrals to relevant agencies to meet their specific needs. This service is staffed entirely by committed and experienced volunteers.  Yuan Yuan Helpline, 6741 0078 operates from 1 pm to 5 pm daily (excluding Sunday and Public Holiday).
